Firstly thank you JD for organising such an incredible event. I truely have the time of my life on your runway and feel so honour that I have been picked to showcase your pieces of art on that amazing runway. Also much love and respect to Herms and Clif and everyone else who works at JCNY!I love each piece at JCNY and much respect to JD who puts in countless hours in creating them.
Some of my accomplisments is winning January 2010 JCNY Model 'Fest and coming second in the Face of Beningborough. Ive also had the pleasure of being a Showcase model for Week 1, 2 , 3 ,4, 5, 6, and 8.
Now.. what does JCNY mean to me.. well, beside the fact that it represents my real life/first life engagement ring.. it also represents the fashion community, opportunites and a whole lot of fun!!
Firstly, I am honored to have been a Showcase Model for weeks 5 - 7 - 8 !! I thank the JCNY grandisisma who gave me this opportunity and, above all, thanks to JD that has managed to create fine jewelry, elegant and versatile.I was born in SL in November 2007 and January I was modeling, I love fashion in all its forms and it is a fantastic JCNY represented.

I'm Alexa Trefoil and I'm proud to have been chosen as a JCNY Showcase model for weeks 7 & 8. I have been a model for 2 years and love representing the designer's vision. The thing I enjoy most about modeling in SL is the number of amazing people I have met. I love connecting with people from all over and the diversity I can find here. I'm outgoing and I love meeting new people. Representing JCNY as a showcase model has given me a great opportunity to meet new people and to support a brand I am proud of.I love the creative spirit in SL and I am constantly inspired and awed by the work of others. Every day in SL is a new adventure.
As I celebrated my third year on SL, I looked back at the many times I have been fortunate enought to be chose for Model'Fest. I was even in the very first few contests JD sponsored and we both have been learning ever since. I've appeared in many contests, runway shows, and have been a store and live model. The fashions and styles have changed and JCNY remains at the forefront of the fashion world in all she does. Plus, the wedding and dating services are elegant and fun. Customer service compliments the lovely jewels and the models can be counted on to bring flair and their fashion sense to show them off. Thanks sponsors, managers, and JD Hansen for making Model'Fest the best experience in Second Life.
I am so honored to be a part of the JCNY Model Fest once again. I am very thankful to JD Hansen for opening the doors into the wonderful world of SL modeling for me. I was first a JCNY Model Fest contestant in 2009, since then, I have been working as an SL model for several prestigue agencies, have done print work, and numerous fashion shows. I have won several modeling contest including Alatiel Fashion "27 Dresses" Photo Contest, and GIA November 2009 Photo Contest, among others. JCNY and Fashion go hand in hand. Oh, I'm as happy as I was in the first time I was picked by JD to take part of the Showcase models group. It was amazing, I have learned so much while on the runway, and now this is the last week, so I tried to give my best here...Thank you JD Hansen, Hermione, Clif and all the models for the time, the patience and the awesome moments that I spent here with you! Now, let's wait for the winner to be announced! 
Hi again! I'm Evyy, and I'm back for another week at my favorite jewelery store!! Last week as a JCNY Showcase Model I made so many new friends and had the time of my life on the runway, so I just HAD to do it again! I looove JCNY's earrings, so much that I spent all of last week finding outfits to showcase them as beautifully as possible, so come down to the JCNY main store and see!
Hello, i'm Flora Fegte. This is my fourth week in the JCNY Showcase. I am honored to represent the most versatille and stylish jewelery in Second Life. As a three year resident here on the grid, it has always been a favorite, I love being able to buy a piece of jewelery and wear it with just about anything I own. I am excited to be a part of this group, as I continue my modeling classes at F.A.M.E., and venture into this world of SL modeling. If I may offer a bit of encouragement to anyone out there who may want to become a model but thinking, "Oh I could never do that". Yes you can and JCNY is the perfect place to get started. I am a recent graduate of Evane/Mimmi Boa Modeling Academy and I am currently working on my Bachelor's degree with the Fashion Institute of Art and Fashion. I am so thrilled to be chosen as a candidate for the JCNY Model'Fest and look forward to meeting all of you on the runway. My name is Laila Macalroy. I've been a resident of Second Life since November 13, 2009. I enjoy spending time with the people I love and hold close to my heart. I enjoy shopping, helping others, meeting new people and doing what I love most - modeling! I've been a showcase model for JCNY since December 2009. I enjoy it so much & feel so privileged to back again. JCNY is not only a pioneer in the fashion industry but also a supreme leader in showcasing very talented models. I feel blessed to share the runway with the models I've met... they are truly my friends! This is a tremendous opportunity & the experience is second to none! Have you ever woken up one day and had that kind of day that made you think, "this is what it means to be happy?" That's how I feel right now as I write my final blog as a week 8 JCNY Showcase Model. I love, love, love fashion. I love to dress up, dress wild, dress down...any kind of dress up one can imagine. I rezzed November 8, 2009 and quickly decided I wanted to give modeling a go. Since then I have attended and graduated Classic W/Style's Modeling University, and as one of their *Famous Models* I participate in the fashion shows. I recently won their Classic W/Glamour Magazine April Cover and was Ms. Valentine 2010 second runner up. I want to continue to learn as much as I can about the SL modeling industry and I am currently attending Look Elite's Modeling Academy. I also won a full scholarship with Style Lab's Model Academy for my style. I was a top ten finalist in DC District Style's December Model Search and am now a DC District Style Model. I also am in the midst of competing in House of Beningborough's March Model Awards. I'm still learning and I will strive to be the best I can. I'm not perfect yet, nor will I probably ever be, but I have found my SL passion and that's what matters the most to me. I'm thrilled to have been a part of JCNY Model'Fest. It has broadened my horizons, my friend list, and my respect for the SL fashion industry. If you love fashion, and art, as much as I do I highly recommend that you come into JCNY and see the beauty and the creativity that has surrounded me for the past 7 weeks. Sometimes words cannot express what the eye can, and you are in for a treat. I love the flexibility JCNY Hyper Gems offer me. Because we all change our minds, and one stone or one metal sometimes doesn't fit our moods or tone of outfits. Hyper Gems solve that problem, and give me the outlet to truly be creative and unique. Thank you so much JD for creating Model'Fest and allowing me to participate. I know I always say that you make my heart sing...but can't help but say it again. You made this girl's heart sing. Thank you!
The last week of this Model'Fest is here and I am on the runway. This is such an exciting experience on the JCNY runway with the other beautiful models. Seeing the new lines come out and go up for display. Meeting wonderful people. For an aspiring model this is the best! It is an honor to be here.
I can't believe Model'Fest is coming to an end. The last five week I have really found a home here on the JCNY runway. Met a lot of great people and generally had a blast. Thank you so much to JD Hansen for this opportunity and for creating all these amazing peices of art we have gotten the honor to model for the last few weeks. Thanks as always to Hermoine Mocha, runway coordinator extraordinare, and to Isis Berithos and Danielle Gargasaur the other two fabulous runway managers. To my fellow models: LuLu C, Storm. Laylah, Sultry, Queenbrat, Meesha, Cecilia, Annette, Anne, Miria and all the others, I has been a privilege to share the runway with you. 
Hi My name is QueenBrat Bracken. I love modelling in SL and have experience as a runway model, print model and live event model. It is all a lot of fun and I love the challenges. I want to thank JD for the opportunity to be on her runway for the week and I'd like to thank the runway managers as well. I really love JCNY jewelry and particularly the versatility of the hyper-gems collection. To be able to change a piece of jewelry is such an affordable and practical option. At the same time, all of the jewelry at JCNY is beautiful and has great attention to detail. I love modelling such great jewelry and am honored I was chosen. 
JCNY epitomizes class and style in the Second Life fashion world. JD Hansen has created a world of glamour and excitement for those who would pursue a modeling career. A lady visited the runway the other day and wanted to know how to be accepted as a model at JCNY. The best answer I could give was look around at the models here. They all represent the best SL has to offer and I am very proud to work with them. My association with JCNY has inspired me to work hard to become the best model that I can be. I started modeling in Second Life in December and have met some of the most accomplished models here. The staff a JCNY has been a tremendous help, and have given me direction in improving my modeling skills. JCNY has a great selection of jewelry for women and men. I continue to enjoy my JCNY Mariner Watch which is a functional and beautiful piece of jewelry. JCNY has tremendous name recognition. It is apparent that there is great talent and care involved in the creation of each item. The store is a beautiful place to shop, and the variety of items is great. Thank you DJ Hansen for allowing me to be a part of all of this.
